It’s a beautiful day here in North West Leeds – hope you’re all enjoying it.
So here’s something else to look forward to.
Those of you with long memories may recall the long-established Childrens day, held in Roundhay Park. Some of us have such long memories we can remember dancing in the arena there! That ended in 1963.
But it was resurrected in 2008, thanks to the Garry Chappelow Fund, and has been a great success over these last years, thanks to the support of the fund, and of Leeds Rugby, and Yorkshire cricket.
So you can expect a great day again in June.
It’s free, it’s for children of all ages – 0-99, centenarians welcome.
Put the date in your diaries now – if it’s not there already.
