On LBC today Maajid Nawaz argues that Sarah Champion’s piece in The S*n didn’t go far enough to highlight the disproportionate levels of convictions of sexual assault by British Muslim men.

No I don’t think she should have resigned. Someone has to speak these inconvenient truths about sexual abuse, whether it involves famous DJs, Christian priests or Muslim taxi-drivers.
That’s essentially what Maajid, a British Muslim man, was saying. The figures say it’s a problem so it should be addressed was his call.
