The Labour Party has outlined a series of measures they would take to ensure that the UK has the highest levels of animal welfare in a 50 point draft policy document, ‘Animal Welfare For The Many, Not The Few’.
It may be worth noting that a couple of the proposals would only be possible in a post-Brexit Britain. One example would be banning the import of foie gras.
